Eligibility: Open to individuals with memory impairments. Must complete assessment to determine level of care.Service Description: Assisted Living Facilities offer a housing alternative for older adults who may need assistance with activities of daily living. Services provided at an Assisted Living Facility may include but are not limited to dressing, bathing, and medication management. Assisted Living facilities are required by Iowa law to be certified through the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals.AKA: N/ABackground Checks: N/AComments:*Companion and private rooms, each with two floorplan options.*Comfortable living rooms with fireplaces.*Sunny dining room, plus a private dining room for small group service.*Large, comfortable gathering room with a resident kitchen for hands-on activities.*Daily activities and routines to maximize spiritual, social, physical and intellectual wellness.*Cable TV and wireless Internet.*Secured entries, surveillance and other safety features.*Large, secured courtyard with patio, walking paths, water feature, raised-bed gardens.*Spa bathhouses with heated floors and pedicure chair and salon.*Professional care staff on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with RN supervision.*Daytime care when available, a furnished guest room for short-term trial or respite stays.*Day stays available for 8 or 9 hours. Individuals can also stay for 1/2 day as well. 3 meals are provided during the day stay.
