Eligibility: Available to residents of Johnson County who are needing emergency or non emergency transportation.Service Description: Provides emergency services for ambulatory transportation, as well as non-emergency scheduled trips from home to hospital, or vice versa.AKA: N/ABackground Checks: YesComments:*Interfacility transfers utilize ambulances to move a patient from one facility to another, be it a hospital, long-term care facility, or a residence.*Provides community CPR classes through a joint effort between Johnson County Ambulance and the Iowa City Fire Department.
