Eligibility: Anyone without a means of transportationService Description: Provides fixed-route transit services that transport people within the limits of city AKA: N/ABackground Check: Yes Comments:*Cannot accomodate wheelchairs, need to be ambulatory but can have a walker*Driver will assist with getting walker and carrying shopping bags, etc.*Works with Access to Care for the State*First call-first serve basis*Call 45 minutes -1 hour before doctor appointments to make sure someone available*Works with regional transit in Storm Lake for needed rides.*Usually employs a bilingual driver
