Eligibility: Residents of Benton County.Service Description: Mobilizes individual and company volunteers to meet the critical needs of the community.AKA: Background Checks: BCVCComments:*Assisted Transportation: Serves all ages 18+; Volunteers transport individuals in their personal vehicles to non-emergency medical appointments.*Volunteer Reception Center: Serves as a point of mobilization, registration, and referral for spontaneous, unaffiliated volunteers who emerge in response to a disaster.*Project Groups: Meets the immediate needs of the community, families, and children. Projects include comfort pillows for heart and cancer patients, food and gift distribution for holidays, quilts, hats, mittens, and more. Also available to do mailings, packaging and other needs for non-profit organizations.*RSVP: Program for 55+ to connect with volunteer opportunities in their community.
