Description

Eligibility: Person must have a disability, the disability must affect the person’s ability to be employed and the person must need rehabilitation services. Voc Rehab does not use age in eligibility, but a person must be able to actively participate in vocational planning and must want to work. Service Description: Provide career counseling, skill & academic training, assistive technology and job placement. AKA: n/aBackground checks: YesComments:*Can help find assistive technology that will help person on the job.*For those on social security 65/older no cost for clothing, eye glasses for work. If age 16 up to 65 may be cost for clothing, eye glasses could use percentage of income to cover the cost.*Staff do travel out to the counties served for appointments. /kh 11/9/15
