Eligibility: Anyone who lives in Cedar Rapids.Service Description: A neutral, fact-finding law enforcement agency that enforces Chapter 69, Cedar Rapids anti-discrimination law.AKA: CRCRCBackground Checks: N/AComments:*Dedicated to safeguarding civil rights through investigation, mediation, and education to prevent and eliminate discrimination and promote equity.*There is no cost involved in filing a complaint of discrimination.*Complaints may be filed against an employer, employment agency, labor organiation, educational institution, property owner, landlord and/or any business or facility open to the general public.*Will not act as a lawyer, provide legal advice, or recommend an attorney. *Typically meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 5:30 PM.
